SY Farouche (diving & sailing)

Welcome to the diving and sailing adventures with SY Farouche, a Hallberg Rassy (HR) 45 built 1991 and manned by a Dutch skipper and PADI / CMAS master scuba dive instructor. Aim of the channel is to inspire sailors and divers to plan for beautiful trips to combine the fantastic hobbies of sailing and scuba diving. Specific attention will be given to solo sailing and self reliant diving. (Positive) comments and suggestions are welcome and will be answered or used to improve the channel and content. Improper comments will be ignored.
Special note for burglars/thieves: when Farouche is not on expedition, all expensive dive and navigation equipment is removed from the boat and safely stored elsewhere. There a no valuables left on board. On top of that Farouche has an alarm system and the police or harbour managers will not appreciate it if you ask for their attention.
