The club started in 1987. Since 1993 Illusion only played house-music: trance, hardtrance and a mix of retro and happy tracks. Illusion always tried to be trendsetting.
Illusion was home to some of the biggest Belgian DJ’s: DJ Jan, Philip, Wout, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Yves Deruyter, Nico Morano, Jan Vervloet, Yves-V, Franky Kloeck, Tofke, Frank Zolex, Kevin and many more.
Despite the fact that the club no longer exists since 2012, the concept is still very much alive thanks to the countless illusion parties and the annual participation in festivals such as Beachland and Replay Festival.
