Originally based on the idea that “It takes a village,” we at The Breaking Bread Village have intentionally created a safe space that is free of judgement. Within this space everyone feels confident that their ideas and perspectives will be heard. We are committed to listening first, with empathy, love, and consideration. When people feel they have no voice; love, creativity and hope can take a back seat to indifference, malice, and disdain.
Our outreach activities are a testimony to the commitment we have to the community around us, not to mention the community worldwide. Spreading love, empathy, and inspiration along this journey, we have been building our village in a positive and caring way (organically). After all, it is much better to build on the things that we have in common, rather than tear down and divide on the matters that we do not.
