Shining Hope Farms
Shining Hope Farms is a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to enable children and adults to reach their full potential through the use of equine assisted activities and therapies. Since 2002, our ultimate goal has been to foster quality of life improvements for children and adults with emotional, developmental, educational, medical, or behavioral problems in the Western Piedmont region of North Carolina through our three locations.
Programs:
Clinical Therapy Services:
We offer physical and occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and mental health counseling.
Adaptive Riding:
Horseback riding lessons for individuals with disabilities for the purpose of contributing positively to their cognitive, physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Saddles & Salutes:
Veterans are taught riding and horsemanship skills in a safe, standards based (structured), learning environment with individual objectives and goals.
