CHURCHTOWN FLOOD ACTION GROUP

The Churchtown Flood Action Group built its own 600 M long flood defence. According to the Environment Agency, this is the only UK Community to date that has managed to design and build its own flood defence along a main river, winning two national awards in the process. This channel is dedicated to that effort, of what came before and the work that will continue.
