Martin Schoenmaker
Hello, I am Martin Schoenmaker, and call myself Koplamp on YouTube. Join me in creating wonderful astrophotography experiences under the stars. I'll try to focus on the fun side. No pixel peeping. A shareable result means success!
Welcome to my YouTube channel. Initially the channel was just a means to share timelapses on other social media ;-) But since September 2020 I started creating videos on processing, how I use my telescopes, how I try to create nice images.
I got into astronomy as a kid, when my mom and I bought a 11cm Newtonian Reflector. Growing up, I lost interest. The scope moved with me all those years and in 2011, while cleaning the attic it resurfaced. I tried it out once more and got hooked again.
I experimented with attaching a camera to the scope and that is when things started taking off.
Now I have upgraded to different telescopes and mounts, but I still own and occasionally use the old 'Eleven'.
