Farmstead Forge
Blacksmith. Farrier. Tool building enthusiast. Come forge with me!
Hey everyone,
I am Jayce, the blacksmith behind Farmstead Forge and I enjoy teaching others how to build their own blacksmith tongs and other tools.
You might be wondering...Why on earth is there a milk cow on your anvil? Well I'll tell you. When my wife and I first started out, pretty much all we had was a milk cow and an anvil. Out of necessity and lack of funds I had to learn to do without, or build my own tools. Because I enjoy the craftsmanship involved with anything handmade (and especially anything working with metal), I decided to go with the second option. Now that I have enjoyed a successful career as a farrier, I am realizing that my true passion lies in helping those just starting out like I was all those years ago.
So, if you are a beginner looking to learn how to build your own tools, you are in the right place.
