Playground 1980s
My favorite memories are of the time managing Playground formerly Freed At Last & MARS. The best bands in Baltimore from 1979 - 1991. Playground did everything from 1950's to 1990's hit songs and originals too. I had iMemories digitize my VHS tapes, so I am sharing the group's originals and cover songs. This channel is a special gift to the guys who will always be family to me - Benny Mays (lead/back-up vocals, keyboards, guitar & percussion), Paul Zahn (lead/back-up vocals, lead guitar, keyboards & bass guitar), Elliot Freed (lead/back-up vocals, bass guitar, keyboards & guitar), Brian Freed (drums) & Thommy Neeson (sound/lights). When the group was MARS and Freed At Last members also included Jean Freed (lead/back-up vocals & guitar), Jim Neeson (lead/back-up vocals & lead guitar), Butch Smith (lead vocals) & Dee Kinsey (lead/backup vocals, guitar & keys). Originals include Life Groove, Click Click, Trouble, Get Funky, Get Down, Not Enough, and Evil Place.
