Musikinstrumenten-Museum Berlin SIMPK
Das Musikinstrumenten-Museum (MIM) des Staatlichen Instituts für Musikforschung (SIM) sammelt Musikinstrumente der europäischen Kunstmusik vom 16. bis zum 21. Jahrhundert. Gut 800 Instrumente sind in der Schausammlung zu sehen. Es ist in seiner Vielfalt eine der repräsentativsten Sammlungen in Deutschland. Das SIM ist das größte außeruniversitäre Forschungszentrum für die Musikwissenschaft in Deutschland und bietet eine Vielzahl von Veranstaltungen, vom wissenschaftlichen Symposium bis zu Veranstaltungen für Kinder.
The Musical Instrument Museum (MIM) of the State Institute for Music Research (SIM) collects musical instruments of European art music from the 16th to the 21st century. A good 800 instruments are on display in the collection. In terms of its diversity, it is one of the most representative collections in Germany. The SIM is the largest non-university research center for musicology in Germany and offers a variety of events, from scientific symposia to events for children.
