Tyneside Life

Eddy was born and raised a Geordie on the banks of the River Tyne. He has been a season ticket holder at Newcastle United since 1994, after going to his first game in 1976. In 2025, NUFC officially recognised 1881 as the true foundation year, (as opposed to 1892), after his persistence with the club paid off.

After a 14 year career in the RAF, he joined the police, serving in Northumbria and Cumbria Constabularies. He retired in 2016, aged 50.

In March 2021, after many years of difficulties, he was diagnosed as Autistic (ASD). Around the same time he began life as a content creator on YouTube. Self taught from scratch he combined his passions for football, travel, the outdoors, local history and wider geopolitics to make entertaining and informative videos.

Eddy now lives with his two border collie dogs and travels around the Tyneside area, learning about its rich history, its culture and making videos about his experiences.
