Photography has been part of my life since the age of 7 in 1963, where I borrowed my fathers camera and later got it as a present. The first camera I bought myself was a russian Zenit SLR, since then I have had many different, but Hasselblad cameras have been my favorites since the first I owned at the age of 20.
I have climbed for almost 50 years professionally for more than 20 years. During these years I have documented a lot of my activities in the mountains. Videos from the Alps, the Himalayas, the roof of Africa, the Andes and other places will appear here on my youtube channel.
Most of my recent work is directed towards photography and videography, also during my mountaineering activities, and I test a lot of different equipment on my diverse set of cameras that counts both modern digital cameras as well as old and some very old analog film cameras. Furthermore, I create my own cameras once in a while.
