Eric D Seals
Eric D. Seals is a seasoned cinematographer, director, and founder of Digifé, a Chicago-based production company specializing in documentaries and social impact storytelling. Over the past 12 years, Eric has built a reputation for crafting visually stunning and emotionally impactful work. His career includes collaborations with major networks such as ESPN, BET, PBS, Vh1, and the History Channel.
Eric’s achievements include being named a 2020 Diverse Voices in Docs Fellow with Kartemquin Films and a 2021 Netflix Directing and Producing Fellow. He directed the award-winning documentary Bike Vessel, which premiered at the 59th Chicago International Film Festival and has since been acquired by Independent Lens.
Eric is committed to sharing his expertise with the next generation of filmmakers. He regularly facilitates workshops and is an Adjunct Professor at DePaul University, where he teaches Sports Documentary Production.
