Ajay Prakash also known as “Jungleedass” was a leading Indian folk musician covering the teachings of life, social culture and well known locally and in the international arena.
Mr. Dulare was a very prominent Indian folk (Tamboora Bhajan, Phaag) Artist in Fiji and composed many of the most sung ‘phaags’ in current times. He gave a fun twist to the traditional way of singing while maintaining the spiritual value of the folk song.
Ajay Prakash Dulare has impacted and inspired many artists with his classic hits that inspire even today, to an extent of being nicknamed the “Fiji’s Phaag King.’’ All the people who knew him greatly respected him and will always keep the memory of a great artist.
