Origin of Name - Zoo Crew is the first name for a group chat of junior dancers who needed an easy way to plan a group costume for Halloween week. Although there have been many name changes over the years, Zoo Crew remains a staple in the groups identity.
Zoo Crew is the lovechild of dancers from Judy Dollenmayer Studio of Dance (JDSD) who used to watch dances that were sporadically uploaded to YouTube and wanted an easy outlet that would allow them to look back on old routines without scouring the internet. JDSD alumni Emma runs the channel due to her obsessive like nature to archiving routines and love of watching dances.
