Welcome. I’m David Webb, professional artist and tutor based in the UK. My art career started over 40 years ago when I left school and started work as an illustrator of natural history subjects for educational books, magazines and greetings cards. Watercolour has always been my medium and nowadays I paint landscapes, animals and still life subjects. I paint in a loose technique, especially when painting outdoors, as the light is constantly changing, and shadows move faster than you think.
On this channel you’ll find watercolour tutorials, including studio-based and en plein air demonstrations. You’ll also find useful information on materials.
