Delaware Choral Scholars
The Delaware Choral Scholars project (DCS) represents a vibrant community of choral artistry rooted in the University of Delaware’s tradition of musical excellence. Comprising students, alumni, and friends, DCS unites musicians dedicated to collaboration, cultural exchange, and choral excellence. As a project-based ensemble, DCS curates innovative musical and educational experiences—summer programs, community collaborations, and international exchanges—that connect artists and renowned conductors worldwide. DCS has earned global acclaim, winning top prizes at the Tolosa International Choral Contest (Spain, 2025), Marktoberdorf Chamber Choir Competition (Germany, 2025), World Choir Games (New Zealand, 2024), and Llangollen Eisteddfod (Wales, 2023). As of August 2024, DCS ranks #1 on Interkultur’s World Rankings, affirming its place among the world’s leading choral ensembles.
