Son and an old man enjoying dad’s ( the boy’s grandfather’s) 1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am after it sat for 30 years ( 02 window sticker, dad had a connection to park on the street) usually a weekly drive and a bit of wrenching here and there. Occasionally a 2004 Jeep Wrangler Sport drive and wrenching too. You may notice in the speaking that there is special needs, yeah I have dyslexia 😎, oh and my son has down syndrome 😇
This 1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am is a Special Edition (Y84) with a Pontiac 400 (W72)and a 4 speed manual transmission ( Super T-10) , heavy duty suspension (WS6) and very rare factory cruise control 2nd generation F body. It’s more than a Smokey and the Bandit looking T/A, just don’t tell my son . TJ has been replaced by more recent Grand Cherokee. So most days you’ll get a”ride along” on a “ Sunday cruise “ as stated by views. I’ll be law abiding yet the tires will let out some happy chirps, especially turning onto the grove.
