Stephen Collins is a professional luthier and musician who is passionate about helping enthusiastic, freelance violinists and violists realize their musical dreams. Working with other enthusiastic, award winning luthiers from around the world, Stephen specializes in designing and crafting original, concert quality instruments, including Violoncello da Spalla. He collaborates and mentors with Dmitry Badiarov in the Elite Luthiers Academy.
Stephen is the author of The Warm-Up: A Paraphrase of Physical Motions for Violin.
As a seasoned professional musician with over 30 years experience, Stephen has a particular advantage in his intimate understanding of the needs of professional musicians.
