Soil Mates of Georgia
Two urban gardeners and one farm.
Susy and Alex garden at their house in metro Atlanta, Georgia where they grow tomatoes, peppers, blueberries, carrots, spinach, squash, watermelon, eggplant, herbs and more. Alex added some backyard chickens in July 2020 to help the learning curve before we move to the farm.
The farm is Alex’s family farm in middle Georgia where we raise cattle, grow muscadines, scuppernongs, and apple trees. We plan to move down there to homestead when our kids are out of school and will add sheep and more chickens too.
