US House Clerk

The Office of the Clerk facilitates the legislative operations and serves as the official record-keeper of the U.S. House of Representatives. The videos posted here include oral histories collected by the House Historian and tours of the U.S. Capitol by the House Curator, both of whom work with the Clerk to collect and preserve more than 200 years of House history.

The Office of the Clerk also provides live streaming video from the House Floor and on-demand proceedings dating back to 2009 on HouseLive.gov. The site also includes video archives of State of the Union and other Presidential addresses, and addresses made to Congress by foreign leaders and dignitaries.
