Derry & District Beekeeping Association is based at, Christ Church Civic Apiary, Derry City Ireland.
Derry City and Strabane District Council area is a voluntary conservation area (VCA) for the native Irish honey bee.
Our association promotes the conservation of the Native Irish Honey Bee "Apis Mellifera Mellifera" (AMM)
Christ Church civic apiary is primarily a teaching apiary were we promote proficiency in managing honey bee colonies.
