Made up of duo Jesse Aicher and Matt Walsh, Prelow came into existence while both studying at NYU. The band released their first EP 'Why Does Everything Happen So Much' in 2015, garnering praise from Noisey, Nylon, and more, in addition to supporting Skizzy Mars on his tour.

Taking time to write and record original material for their label, the duo returned in early 2017 with the singles "Guitar Beat" and "I Don't Wanna End the Night". In early 2018 they dropped another single, "Goes to Shit", as well as a collaboration with Lostboycrow called "Some Nights".
