Hi everyone! My name is Nilachala Devi Dasi. This name was given to me by my spiritual master Caitanya Chandra Charan Prabhu, on an initiation on Gaura Purnima in 2014, in Holy Mayapur Dham.

My param guru Shrila Prabhupada got upset that dwellers of India admire the Western culture and forget Krishna. He went preaching to the west, to give this knowledge to European people. So that they could love Krishna, and Hindu people, after seeing them, were inspired to follow their own culture.
Shrila Prabhupada called us "white elephants", because we bring excitement. And this excitement is needed so that as many people as possible remember Krishna, love Him and sing His Names all over the world.
