Ensemble Horo Bulgaria Ансамбъл Хоро
Dance ensemble “Horo” were established in the spring of 2003 by Dariya Mihalkova and Mitko Mikhalkov. The idea behind the dance ensemble was to teach Bulgarian folk dances to children and adults so that they could experience firsthand the magic of Bulgarian folklore and dance. With its expansion over the years and the growing dance abilities of the dancers, Dariya and Mitko Mikhalkovi created several stage choreographies and thus began the stage performances of Ensemble “Horo”.
Each stage choreography presents a selected set of dances coming from a specific ethnographic area in Bulgaria. Under the leadership of Dariya and Mitko Mikhalkovi the ensemble had the opportunity to take part in numerous national and international festivals seminars and dance venues
