Kids Country
About us
Kids Country delivers exceptional, hands-on learning experiences for children based around food, farming and the countryside.
It is one of the largest children’s programmes run by a UK Agricultural Society.
In 2019 Kids Country reached over 10,000 children from 100 different schools across 19 events. Over 2000 volunteers, teachers, educators and exhibitors were involved in delivering the programme.
Inspiring Education
Based at the East of England Showground in Peterborough, Kids Country was established in 2012. It has built a reputation as an inspiring educational programme.
A range of events are held throughout the academic year covering many elements of the National Curriculum. They provide teachers and educators with fun and innovative ways to stimulate their Key Stage 1 and 2 children.
The team also attends numerous public shows and events, including Open Farm Sunday and Lambing Sunday
