Evgeny Ryzhkov

Evgeny graduated from the Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg State Conservatory as a student of Professor Alexander Shilo; he completed his qualification apprenticeship at the same Conservatory. In 2016, he finished his studies as a Fulbright Program student of Professor Eugene Levinson (The Juilliard School, New York).
2013 – The winner at V Kusevitzky International Competition (St. Petersburg).
From 2019 to 2022, Evgeny was Acting Concertmaster of double bass group at the Mariinsky Theatre.
Since 2022, Evgeny has been the Principal Bass of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra.
He cooperated as a soloist with renowned conductors, including Valery Gergiev.
