SV: Navajo
When I was a young boy of around 5 years old with 2 brothers, 4 years and 8 mths old, my farther Rusty as he is known designed and built a 28 foot timber yacht called the Sarina in the front yard of our Yorkeys Knob home in Far North Queensland, and we spent the next 5 odd years sailing round the Great Barrier Reef.
I have so many memories from this time in my life, and I hope to give my 2 boys a taste of those memories for themselves, and so my beautiful wife Joy and I, purchased after much, much looking and almost giving in a beautiful thou neglected 30 foot yacht, with a winged keel, based on a Bruce Roberts design, built in Tasmania in the early 1980's, and we hope to bring her back to life over the next 12 months or so, and document our journey for ourselves our children, family, friends and whom ever finds it interesting.
