Daniel is Master of the Choristers and Organist of Durham Cathedral. Prior to this he was Sub-Organist of Westminster Abbey, Organist and Master of the Choristers of St Davids Cathedral in Wales, and Assistant Director of Music of Salisbury Cathedral. He has worked extensively as both a Conductor and Organist, and his many recordings, particularly of British music, have been met with widespread critical acclaim.
Daniel is active as a recitalist across the world, with recent and forthcoming concerts in the USA, Austria, Germany and Italy. He is in demand as a teacher, particularly at Durham University, and is looking forward to becoming Musical Director of Cleveland Philharmonic Choir in September 2025.
