A place to belong. Isn't that what we all want, really? Somewhere we feel loved and wanted. A place where we can be real. A place where we're included and accepted, no matter what. That's what Jesus did for people while he was here on this earth.
The work of CenterPeace is to provide a place at the table for LGBTQ people and to open conversations about faith and sexuality with ministry leaders, parents, and other community members. In particular, CenterPeace strives to create affirming spiritual community for LGBTQ people. Established in 2006 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, CenterPeace grew out of Founder and Executive Director Sally Gary's own journey growing up in a Christian family and coming to realize she is gay.
CenterPeace offers multiple events per year, including weekend retreats, online community, a Certificate in LGBTQ Ministry, and a biennial national conference, as well as digital resources. Learn more at centerpeace.net
