World Vision Rwanda
World Vision is a global relief, development and advocacy organization dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice. We serve all people, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or gender.
World Vision began operating in Rwanda in 1994, providing relief and rehabilitation to millions of people that were displaced due to the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi. In 2000, World Vision began long-term development programmes in Rwanda targeting vulnerable children and their families with interventions in the areas of Education, Child Sponsorship, Health and Nutrition, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) and Economic Empowerment.
