I'm an American man that retired to the Philippines four years ago. You will have to learn how to navigate through the Philippine system and culture or you will be disappointed. If you are a type A personality where you want it now and fast don't bother with the Philippines you won't like it here. You have to realise the Philippines is a much slower pace country than the USA, which is a big part of the beauty of the Philippines. It makes it relaxing and stressless in relation to western world's hustle. The Filipina women are some of the most beautiful, loving, caring, loyal women in the world, but you do need to be careful.
