Paulding Downtown Historic District
The Paulding Downtown Historic District designation was achieved after a six-year planning, research and application process spearheaded by CoRP (Community Revitalizing Paulding). The Historic District was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 2024. As part of the process, a group of local volunteers researched and wrote the detailed history of all 53 buildings within the district. CoRP submitted the 60-plus-page application, plus supporting documentation and research, to Ohio’s State Historic Preservation Office for review before forwarding it to the National Park Service.
Mission Statement of CoRP: “We champion the health and vitality of Downtown Paulding through the promotion of commerce, culture, historical preservation and celebration.”
