Kiwi Farmer
Farming in New Zealand (like the rest of the world) is getting a hard time from the media and with the continuous stream of new rules and regulations we are having to navigate, it is hard to be positive about the future. Our aim with our YouTube and Facebook accounts is to front foot the bad publicity, showing the general population that farmers are not environmental terrorists like we are painted out to be and we actually care deeply about the land we farm, our animals and our environment. Because if we wreck it now, that is our livelihood gone and that of the generations who follow in our footsteps.
It is my hope that sharing a snippet of our lives will engage with and encourage like-minded people to speak out about the good work being done by rural communities all over the world.
