This channel is a tribute to all lovers of Baithak Gana and to all the Hindustan immigrants. 🙏

The Hindustani immigrants were brought in from Trinidad & Tobago, Guyana and Suriname from India for work on the plantations.

These immigrants took their cultural heritage with them and further developed it in the country of arrival.

Baithak Gana is a folk song and it brings messages more than words can speak. 🎶
These are songs played during social gatherings, birthday parties and weddings.
The songs are in Sarnami & Bhojpuri (Suriname) and in Hindi & English (Trinidad & Guyana) 🌎
Three musical instruments were used in these songs: the dhol, the harmonium, and the dhantal. 🎹

We take no credits for the songs and we have sometimes no information of the singers and groups.
