Having been established in the year 1989 with the aim of bringing together and unite the youths belonging to various sub-sects of Dravida Brahmin’s community residing in Mangalore Taluk, “Yuva vedike” is known for its vibrant activities and organizing diversified programmes.
Under the patronage of “Yuva Vedike”, various competitions for children/youth, like music, dance, fancy dress, rangoli, extempore, drawing, flower arrangement, anthakshari, Adarsha Dampathigalu, cooking competition.,Sneha milana,Prathibha puraskara,career guidance camps ,Arogya nidhi, Vidya nidhi distribution ,medical camps, yogasana camps,holding sports competitions etc. were successfully organized every year..
During the Ashada Masa, religious and cultural events like"ASHADA SHRAVYA' - Gamaka,Pravachana, Harikatha, YakshaganaTala Maddale etc.were organized.
