Carter Wilde, Dog Trainer

I’m Carter Wilde, a professional dog trainer from Baltimore, Maryland. My journey started in 2005 when I took a 16-week group lessons course with my dog, Spike. That experience sparked a passion for training, and I knew I wanted to make it my career. I apprenticed locally for two years, learning hands-on, and then completed advanced courses with nationally renowned trainer Michael Ellis in California. Those experiences, along with certifications and years of practice, helped me develop a unique approach that consistently delivers results for happy clients.

In 2017, I purchased the property and built Wilde Acres Boarding & Training, a space dedicated to helping dogs and their owners. I also train service dogs for veterans with PTSD and individuals with mobility challenges, work I find especially rewarding. When I’m not training, I love spending time with my wife and family, staying active, cooking, and caring for the grounds and facility at Wilde Acres.
