The Complete Basquiat

"The Complete Basquiat" is a long-term project to organize and present the complete oeuvre of Jean-Michel Basquiat in the order he executed his works. While it cannot be considered a "curated" Catalogue Raisonne, such as the Gallery Navarra Basquiat Monograph, it can be used to appreciate the creative process of this important artist. What are my credentials? I am a former Christie's International employee, having worked in the Modern and Impressionist Department in the mid-1990s. I even helped authenticate a Basquiat for auction by finding the painting in a period photo of his studio. The process of creating "The Complete Basquiat" is time consuming, organizing hundreds of images. However, as I go through them they order themselves, almost like a puzzle. The works are presented in a documentary slide-show format that can be viewed over and over. Enjoy!
