The Gurus Band
We are a 7 member live band based in Plumpton, Sydney NSW, which has a large composition of singers and musicians from Sydney, with a background of Fiji, India, Bangladesh & Solomon Islands. We specialise in English, Hindi Bollywood, Fijian, Bhojpuri and Reggae numbers. The Gurus has been in existence since 2006, running to packed jam sessions nearly every fortnight. It is a hobby band where members get a chance to share their talents on stage and each member carries a stage experience of at least 25 years each. But of course, we do not play for free, charge a minimum amount so that people take us for real!!!!!Yes, we have backed International artist like Fiji's Golden Voice Daya Nand and so forth. Band playing has included weddings, parties, Eid mela, Diwali mela, private & Corporate functions, pub gigs, new year bashes, Ship cruise to name a few. Contact number is 0411604372.
