Tahir Burhan

I am not this,
nor that
not the veil of conclusions,
nor the echo of assumptions.
All that can be spoken
dissolves into silence.
I am you,
you are me
as the bird is the breath of sky,
as the tree is the hymn of earth,
as the river is the memory of time,
as the seed is the dream of light.
I move with the stars,
a pilgrim of the unseen.
No walls contain me,
no shadowed shed can bind.
I am the soul unchained,
woven of fire and air.
I am you
You are me
not to be freed,
But free
