Canadian Neuroendocrine Tumour Society CNETS
NeuroEndocrine Cancer (also known as "NET" cancer), affects approximately 15,000 – 20,000 Canadians and can be found in all parts of the body.
Neuroendocrine tumours (NETs) can be silent for years. When symptoms are present, they're often unclear and similar to common health problems. If diagnosed early, NETs can be managed, but it is still frequently misdiagnosed as something else and by the time it is correctly diagnosed the cancer has often spread to other parts of the body.
CNETS Canada provides awareness, education and support to NET cancer patients, families and caregivers and is the only Canadian charitable organization supporting the NET cancer patient community.
