Ane carrasco

Born into one of the most prominent families in Flamenco Music, Ané began his groove from within his Mother’s womb. As is common among the Flamenco Gipsy community of Andalusia, Ané was brought up by some of the greatest talents that the genre has ever seen.
His Father, Diego Carrasco, overlooked his journey always making sure that Ané was progressively evolving as a musician whether it was learning to accompany Cante on a guitar with “Moraito Chico” or doing his thing on Drums and Cajon accompanying “Tomasito” & his revolutionary Baile.
As he developed into his teens, Ané began to be one of the most requested percussionist in all of Flamenco. Slowly he immersed himself into other styles of music that he so passionately listened to such as the solid groove of Marcus Miller, the smooth jazz lines of Pat Metheny, & of course some of the local visionaries: Ketama, Pata Negra & Lola Flores.
