Edward Taylor Organist
Welcome to Edward Taylor Organist You Tube channel!
I am currently based in Carlisle UK as Organist at the Cathedral whilst enjoying a career as a concert organist and conductor.
The primary aim of my channel is to promote some of the lesser known repertoire, mainly from 20th century Britain and France, for example Alcock, Harwood, Jongen and Rowley, and encourage organists to explore these pieces for themselves. For those church organists in particular, there are many works on my channel suitable for various seasons of the churches year from composers such as Whitlock, Willan, Tambling and many more. Of course many of the favourites of the repertoire are here too!
Most of the videos here are recorded on the wonderful 4 manual Willis organ at Carlisle Cathedral, rebuilt and enlarged by Harrison and Harrison.
Do check it out and please do join those who have kindly already subscribed to the channel, to keep in touch and up to date with videos as soon as they are posted!
Thanks!
