If you want to get a cinematic look (from a budget camera) Lens-Sensor SETTINGS (& LUTs) might be your answer! For years, I searched for the perfect lens-sensor combo; a lens and camera that together would produce the perfect image, with few adjustments and little post-processing. I wanted it to look REAL straight out of camera (SOOC) and to me, that would be everything I needed and wanted. The thing is, as I tested each pair, every lens told a different story. So, I began tweaking settings, jotting down notes (on index cards) for every lens-sensor combination I tried. I soon realized I needed a database to access all of this information quickly (in the field) so I created my website. For more of the story, check out my website (it has the custom camera settings for every lens I've tested).
