Madeline Island School of the Arts
Madeline Island School of the Arts (MISA) is ranked among the top five art and craft workshop schools in the country. The schools flagship campus is located on Madeline Island, the largest of the 22 Apostle Islands in Lake Superior.
MISA’s workshop environment is recognized for its world-renowned instructors in writing, urban sketching, mixed media, studio painting, plein air painting, quilting, fiber arts and photography.
We operate workshops in Tucson, AZ in January, in Santa Fe, NM in March - May, on Madeline Island from June - September, in Bar Harbor, ME in September, and in Pacific Grove in October - November.
