TTCadets

The Trinidad and Tobago Cadet Force is a national youth organisation sponsored by the Ministry of National Security. It is a military structured organisation that is open to young people in the secondary school system across the nation.

The core business of the Cadet Force is youth development. This goal is achieved through a cross section of military training experiences, leadership, personal development, and civic responsibility experiences.

Cadet Force Units are based in 75 secondary schools throughout the country. In addition, there are several Specialist Units within the Cadet Force where cadets can learn:

- Musical instruments
- Seamanship
- Aviation
- Paramedical Skills
- Catering/food preparation

The Cadet Force is currently led by Deputy Commandant (Ag.)Lieutenant Colonel R Marlon Hart, and an adult staff of volunteer Officers, Warrant Officers and Adult Sergeants and Instructors.
