along for the ART ride
I am a self-taught mixed media artist - and by mixed media I mean that anything is fair game to add to my art because anything and everything can inspire me. I've been a creative since childhood when I'd spend hours making things with paper, scissors, and glue. As a teen I learned the textile arts of embroidery, quilting, crochet, and sewing - always keeping my hands busy. I was swept up in the rubber stamp and scrapbook world in the early 2000s renewing my love for all things paper. Suddenly inspiration was everywhere! I soon learned about art journaling and altered books - two of my current passions. I have more ideas and art supplies than I know what to do with in this lifetime but I'm working on it one day at a time. Come and join me for the ride!
