2bikemike's guitar journey
In 2010 I knew retirement was coming and started planning to have some guitars so I could learn to play. I had wanted to since I was 9, had a Kmart guitar but no instruction. 55 years later there is you tube university with lots of folks that share how to do so many things and guitar is a big one. I've learned a lot and I share my videos in hopes they will help others as I have been.
There is an abundance of budget friendly guitars in the world these days and I like to evaluate and upgrade them to be better that they were originally made and become a really usable instrument. This hardware and pickup changes, wiring option mods and yes sometimes woodworking to get the changes done. This I do as an extension of the learning to play guitar hobby.
Motorcycling is my summer passion and guitars winters hobby mostly while shut in with mounds of snow in Canada. I got the nickname 2bikemike in the early 90s and it stuck
