The Tread
Being a parent of a child with a disability is challenging. I have triplets, including two boys with ASD who have significant developmental and behavioural issues. For more than 10 years I have been working through these issues and developmental stages with a range of speech therapists, OT’s and behavioural therapists, accumulating a wealth of knowledge and experience.
On this channel I want to share with you some of that knowledge and the practical ideas that I have put in place in order to create more meaningful engagements with my boys and to promote their independence.
My hope is that it will empower you to continue to invest in your child, try new things and see their potential.
Enjoy!
