Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU)
The Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union is a media organisation with 250 members. Activities include tailored training and capacity-building, a news exchange, rights for major sports events, co-productions, networking events and conferences. It supports the development of the media industry in Asia and the Pacific and the role of the media in development. It is a not-for-profit, non government, non-political professional association whose members serve more than half of the world's population.
