Lynton and Barnstaple Railway

The official video channel of the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway, “the last great narrow-gauge adventure”, located on glorious Exmoor in beautiful North Devon, United Kingdom.

Our narrow gauge steam trains run through rolling countryside, with views out to wild moorland and the rugged coastline. Originally opened in 1898, but only surviving until 1935, the authentic scenes you see today at Woody Bay are just the beginning of an exciting project to rebuild one of the world’s most famous and picturesque narrow-gauge railways - the legendary Lynton and Barnstaple Railway.
